Bob Smith, President & CEO, was presented with the Pinnacle Award by the Ohio Northern University Dicke College of Business.  The banquet took place at Ohio Northern's campus and honored individuals who have made significant contributions to the business college.

For the second year in a row, Bob Smith, President and CEO, was included in Inside Business’ “Power 100” list (January/ February 2012 edition). The list is comprised of the most influential CEOs, politicians and civic leaders in Northeast Ohio. To compile the list, Inside Business surveyed its previous Power 100 list and reviewed the events and forces that affected our region in 2011 and are poised to do so in 2012.

An active civic leader in Cleveland and Ohio, Bob was among 10 leaders cited by the editors as “impact players who are transforming Northeast Ohio.”

Bob Smith, President and CEO, was featured in the “Who’s Who” list of Northeast Ohio leaders in the November 17, 2010 edition of Crain’s Cleveland Business. The list includes the people “who make Northeast Ohio tick” and contains a wide variety of individuals, from college presidents to CEOs leading Northeast Ohio into the future.

Matt Olver, CFP®, Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor, was featured in the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s “Ask the Expert” column on August 21, 2010. Matt responded to a question regarding college financial aid and whether it’s possible to amend filed FAFSA forms due to changing circumstances.

Jeff Malbasa has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Chief Operating Officer of Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, Inc., effective September 1, 2010.
